He buys an insurance policy as a “couple” “Floater” to secure their future and growth in the family future... a family floater policy with maternity cover.
Soon within a few months, the couple breaks the good news to the family, the most joyous moment in their life. Just to have a check Kishore calls the insurance advisor to confirm his wife’s maternity expenses are taken care of.
The Months of Love Affection and Caring by the family members, to welcome the new member are passing fast…
The ‘D Day’ arrives and his wife is admitted to a maternity nursing hospital, The insurance company is listed and registered with the hospital.
They are blessed with a baby boy, The Most Joyous Moment, and the Distribution of sweets.
The hospital billing department says, “Your insurance policy does not cover the maternity expenses”.?
Kishore, a smart guy, doesn’t convey this directly to the insurance advisor, from whom he had brought the policy…… He calls him on the pretext of getting some bill approvals to be signed at the hospital.
The novice advisor…reaches the hospital... Kishore reveals his moment of shock and surprise to the advisor and asked him to pay at least 50 % of the expenses. Else he will charge him for misleading and misselling of Insurance policies in the local area.
The advisor to avoid any further challenges pays some cash to him and the matter is sorted to a certain extent. there itself.
However, what the story ends with is a few Stark Ground Realties happening even today …...
Nor does the Advisor bother to explain, Nor does the buyer read the exclusions or for the waiting period post-purchase of the policy…
It was a Happy Moment in Kishore’s Life ... so he could still manage to arrange for additional funds by himself and some help from friends and relatives.
